ATTENDEE REFERENCE GUIDE

The Attendee Reference Guide is your go-to resource for making the most of the Annual Conference & Expo in Nashville.

CONFERENCE ACCESSIBILITY RESOURCES

ALA strives to foster accessible spaces during the 2025 Annual Conference & Expo.

The following is an outline of considerations that are part of our conference planning process. If you have additional needs not covered below, please reach out to us at alaevents@alanet.org and we will work to accommodate you.

All conference sessions will have live captioning. A link to access the closed-captioning is listed below each session description within the app. Additional listening devices are available, if requested in advance. Please see a member of the conference staff at the registration desk.

Speakers will use microphones for all sessions.

The Music City Center follows all ADA laws for accessibility. All meeting and event spaces are accessible to wheelchair and scooter users. Servers will be available to assist at buffet meals. There will be seats reserved at tables to accommodate wheelchairs. Elevators are clearly marked throughout the venue.

The conference schedule and information are available on the conference app or website, which is accessible on mobile devices and desktop/laptop computers.

Reserved seats will be at the front of the room for people who need unobstructed views of the speakers or slides.

We ask that you provide us with all dietary restrictions during the registration process. If you were not able to do so, please visit the registration desk as soon as possible. All food buffets will have visible signage to highlight possible common food allergens.

Attendees will have access to a nursing lounge and lactation room, as well as a Quiet Room available for the duration of the event. For more information about these spaces, please inquire at the Registration Desk.

For more information about the physical features of the accessible rooms, common areas or special services relating to a specific disability please call MCC ADA Coordinator: +1–615–401–1450

Elevators, ADA entry doors, and parking equipment utilize touchless technology for hands-free access.

Please visit https://www.cloudofgoods.com/nashville-tn for a list of wheelchair and scooter rentals that will deliver to the Omni & Westin hotels. Automated doors for wheelchair accessibility are located at the entrances to the Music City Center along Rep. John Lewis Way (5th Avenue), 6th Avenue, and 8th Avenue. MCC staff can assist with information regarding wheelchair use.
